Whether you are looking for a church to call home, or just exploring the Christian faith, you are very welcome at Birmingham Vineyard. If you are coming to a Sunday service for the first time we want to make your visit as enjoyable as possible by letting you know exactly what’s involved.

What time does it start?
We have 3 services across our 2 locations on a Sunday. These start at 10:30am, 11:00am and 5:30pm. On the 4th Sunday of every month, we meet in our communities around the city instead of in the church building, so it's worth checking what's happening This Sunday.

Where is the church?
The City Centre site meets at Network House, 174-178 Barford Street, Birmingham B5 7EP.
There is parking opposite the building, and also free street parking.

The South site meets at University of Birmingham School, 12 Weoley Park Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29 6QU.
There is a car park on site and parking available on the nearby roads too.

What should you wear?
Most people who come dress casually!

What should you expect?
We believe church should be informal and relaxed - the kind of place where anyone can feel at home. Therefore, we serve filter coffee, tea and fresh home-made cakes, and would love for you to feel comfortable and at home.

If you have any children aged 0-11 they can be signed into our Kids ministry. Sign in opens 10 minutes before each service.

We also have a fantastic Youth group. You can pick up a flyer from the Information Wall which will tell you all about upcoming Youth events.

If you're a student, head to our Young Adults page to find out how you can get involved.

The service
We start with a time of sung worship which lasts for about 25 minutes. The songs we sing are like prayers set to music and can help us express to God what’s in our hearts. The words will be on screen, so feel free to join in, or just listen to the music. If you'd like to get an idea of what songs we sing, check out the Spotify playlist below.

Mid-way through we take a short break for notices and information. We then have a practical talk from the Bible, followed by an opportunity for prayer at the end of the service.

Communion is served on a fortnightly basis, at all three services.

After the service please make your way over to the welcome area where you can chat to some of our team, ask any questions you might have and pick up some useful information. We serve refreshments before and after each service.

Do you have any events for newcomers?

If you’d like to find out more about Birmingham Vineyard, or church in general, then you’re invited to ROOTED, a 3 part course that runs regularly throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to share your story, ask your questions and get connected to a community that exists to see people flourish in their relationship with Jesus.

Each evening will include dinner, worship, live teaching, video content and plenty of time for discussion. There will also be a discipleship resource to take away after the evening. The courses run regularly, so if you miss a session you can always come to that session on a later date.
