We are so excited for our Big Weekend away coming up the 14 - 16th of June. This page is full of useful information you may need to know!

Registration will begin at 5:30pm on Friday*. You need to be off site by 2:00pm on Sunday.

When you arrive, we will have people directing you to the main car park & reception area. When you check in, we will show you where your accommodation is. You will be able park your car at your chalet or caravan and unload your luggage.

If you are signed up to come by coach, check your emails for information coming your way from Rachel Binder.

*Please do not plan to arrive after 10:00 pm on Friday evening - if you know ahead of time that you won't be able to arrive prior to 10 pm, we ask that you plan to arrive on Saturday morning. 

Bedding - Pillow and duvet are provided but each person needs a single sheet*, single duvet cover (or sleeping bag) and a pillow case - If you forget, it's £13pp to hire some! 

  • Towel & toiletries 

  • Bible, journal, pen etc

  • Swimwear if you want to participate in the slip & slide

  • Small amount of cash (vending machines and  extra food on Saturday evening) 

  • An outfit from your favourite decade for 'Disco Through the Decades' (see below for more info on this!) 

  • Clothes you don't mind getting smokey at the bonfire 

  • Water bottle

  • Any alcoholic or soft drinks you might want to have

  • Snacks (No nuts)

*The Caravans have one room with a double bed & so will need a double duvet cover and sheet. Your accomodation email will say if this applies to you. 

Snacks on Friday evening (please eat dinner before you arrive or bring food to cook in your accomodation on arrival)

  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday

  • Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday

  • Marshmallows & s'mores around the fire

  • Afternoon cakes and savoury snacks

A hamper of tea, coffee, milk and breakfast items will be in each chalet/caravan when you arrive. If you need to top up anything over the weekend, items will be available from the cafe.

We will also have some additional opportunities to buy extra food:

  • Snacks (healthy & not so healthy!), drinks and more at the cafe shop.

  • Burgers & sweets at the disco late on Saturday night.

Yes! There will be kids programmes happening during all the Saturday sessions.

There will be a Youth programme during the Saturday morning sessions and then youth will join the main session in the afternoon.

On Sunday, everyone will be together. 

Another email will be going out to parents/carers with more details about the kids provision closer to the weekend, so look out for that! 

One of the entertainment options on Saturday evening is a 'Disco through the Decades!'. We hope you're ready to dance!

We will be enjoying bangers right the way back from the 60s through to current hits. We would love for you to come dressed in the fashion from your favourite decade. Whether you're going to get the flares out or come head to toe in neon, we want to see it all!

If you can't get enough of the nostalgia, there will be a tuck shop! So bring some cash…

We are assigning everyone accommodation in either chalets or caravans. If you haven’t yet received an email letting you know which chalet you are sharing, you should receive it soon!

Curfew and quiet hours on site will be 11:00pm - 7am.
All social activities & the cafe space will be finishing at 11pm. 

We want to get as many people involved in serving on a team as possible to help the weekend go smoothly. Some of you will have already heard about helping on a team, some of you won't have heard yet! Please look out for separate emails with information about this.

If for some reason you don't hear anything before the weekend & you want to get involved, then please let us know when you arrive & we can find a place for you to volunteer. 

We recognise there are many people who won't be able to serve on a team due to a variety of reasons. We are just glad you are able to join us this weekend!
